Account Manager

As we expand our sales and marketing operations, we’re looking for an Account Manager to hop aboard the team. You’ll be instrumental in establishing and maintaining customer relationships, with special focus on retaining them and ensuring they get the most out of Ordoro.

Everyday our software helps thousands of small businesses save lots of time and make more money by simplifying and automating their shipping and inventory management. A Day in the Life

As an Account Manager you’ll be working hand-in-hand with our Customer Support and Sales squads to keep customer retention high and upsell whenever and wherever possible.

Customers that have been aboard Ordoro for a few months will be assigned to you — your primary goal is to ensure that they continue using the app, focusing on how they can get the most out of it, how to make them as satisfied as possible, and how we can increase their ROI through account and feature upgrades.

Above all else, you will need rock-solid communication skills, plenty of organization, and a persistent personality to succeed in this role.

Your Overall Responsibilities

All in all, here’s what this Account Manager position entails:

  • You are responsible for both customer and revenue retention across your assigned accounts
  • At the end of the day, establish a relationship with customers and make sure they are happy and satisfied
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to upsell
  • Consistently hit customer retention rates and upsell benchmarks
  • Ensure that Ordoro users are maximizing the full potential of the app
  • Encourage customer feedback and relay it to relevant teams like Sales and Customer Support

Who We’re Looking For

There are a few qualifications we have in mind for the special someone to fill this position. Here’s the know-how and expertise we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the SaaS space
  • Experience in whipping up and delivering on an account management and customer success strategy
  • Totally adept at communicating, presenting, and negotiating
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
