You can create custom tags and categorize orders however you like.  Custom tags may be titled anything. Examples include backorder, needs refund, expedited, etc.  Multiple tags may be added to the same order and can be applied automatically via Ordoro’s Automation Rules.

  1. Select the orders you want to tag by checking the checkboxes on the leftmost column
  2. Click on Add Tag button on top. You will see a list of tags that are available. If you want to create a new tag, then you can scroll to the bottom of that dropdown and click on Create a new tag
  3. Once the tags are applied, those tags will show up on each order block

Filtering Orders

1. Click the Orders tab in the green bar.

2. Click the Filters button.

3. Then scroll to the Tags section.

Here you can select or exclude the tags you want to display. See the Filtering Logic below for more details.

Filtering Logic

Filtering logic for tags includes Any, All, Only, and Exclude. Below explains how these functions work in Ordoro.

  1. Has
  2. Does not have
  3. Exclude (orders only)
  4. Search

Has

Any:

  • This will show any item with the tag(s) you have selected.
  • If you select multiple tags, it will include items with at least one of the chosen tags.
  • Example: If you select the “Expedited” tag in the above picture, you will return all items with that tag. If you select “Expedited” and “International”, you will return all items that have at least one of “Expedited” or “International” tags.

All:

  • This will show all items with the tag(s) you have selected.
  • If you select multiple tags, it will only return items that have been tagged by all of the selected tags.
  • It will not include items with only one of the selected tags. For this, you will want to choose Any.
  • Example – If you select the “Expedited” tag in the above picture, you will return all items with that tag. If you select “Expedited” and “International”, you will return all items that have both of “Expedited” and “International” tags.  An item that has the tags “International”, “Expedited,” and “First Class” would show up. An item with “Expedited” and not “International” would not appear.

Only:

  • This will only return items with your selected specific tag(s). If you select multiple tags, it will only return items that have those exact multiple tags and no other tags.
  • Example – If you select the “Expedited” tag in the above picture, you will return all items tagged only with “Expedited” and nothing else. If you select “Expedited” and “International”, you will return all items that have both “Expedited” and “International” tags, and nothing else, so,  an item that has the tags “International”, “Expedited,” and “First Class” would not show up.

Does not have

Any:

  • This will hide all items associated with the tags you have selected.
  • Example – If you select the “Expedited” tag in the above picture, you will return all items that don’t have the “Expedited” tag. If you select “Expedited” and “International”, you will return all items that do not have either “Expedited” or “International” tags.

Exclude

  • Select the X icon on the tag to exclude that tag from filtering.
  • Multiple tags can be selected to exclude.

Got a long list of tags? No problem! Search for the name of the tag you’re looking to filter or apply.

The search can be used when applying tags, filtering, or when setting up automation rules. Note: the search will return alpha characters only.
